How To Care For Your Paper Flowers

We know one of the things people love most about paper flowers is that they last forever. Never again will you have to pick up dried leaves off the table from your slowly wilting bouquet or throw out expensive bouquets because they're starting to turn bad.

Paper flowers last forever, they're always in season and they are always looking bright and bold but because they last for so long, here are a few tips to keep them looking great.

1. Shipping flowers around Australia is a tricky thing. We treat our flower creations like babies and always package them carefully but unfortunately along the way from us to you they may get slightly squished. Luckily SAA paper is strong and it can be fluffed back into shape if they are knocked around. Simply tease the paper out with your fingers to achieve their full look. As you get started you'll begin to get a feel for how tolerant the flowers are and you can mould them to suit their new setting.

2. Internally, the stems are made from wire so they can be bent virtually any way you like to fit into your favourite vase. We keep the stems quite long so they suit more vases but you can cut them shorter to stand in a shorter vessel if need be.

3. Even Superman had a kryptonite and for paper flowers, it's water and direct sunlight. Water will damage the paper and may cause the colours to run and direct sunlight can cause the colours to fade. By keeping your new paper flowers out of direct sunlight they can last for years and years.

It's as easy as that! If you have any questions about how to care for your new paper flowers don't hesitate to get in touch, our friendly team would be more than happy to help.
